Exhibition Sales Manager – Silverstone studio

We are looking for someone with a proven record of hitting sales targets in excess of £500,000 per annum in the global exhibition market place. Reporting to the CEO, you will be a prominent member of the team where the foundations are laid for your success in this role. Role
• A client facing Exhibition Sales Manager with a real can do attitude and a varied skill set. You will have a minimum of 5 years of internal exhibition sales experience.
• The Exhibition Sales Manager will be responsible for driving L3’s market position and ambition to achieve target significant financial growth.
• You will assist in determining the long-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• You will work with the internal team and managers to increase sales opportunities, and thereby maximise revenue for L3.
• To achieve this, you will be responsible for finding potential new customers, presenting to them, ultimately converting them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
• You will call on clients, being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict the clients’ future needs.

Description:
• The primary role of the Exhibition Sales Manager is to prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, advertising or other means of generating interest in L3.
• You will need to plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with L3. You will need to develop a rapport with new clients, and hit realistic sales targets, as well as provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
• Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, with a key responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into L3. This requires a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, the solutions/services L3 can provide, and of L3’s competitors.

Duties:
Exhibition Sales
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation. Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and L3 principals. Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with the L3 team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising, agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
• Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately. Present an image that mirrors that of the client.

Client Retention
• Present new products and services and your existing relationships. Work with the creative and projects teams to meet customer needs. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Sales Development Planning
• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM and internal process templates.
• Be accountable for hitting realistic sales targets.
• Track and record activity on accounts, and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities. Understand the company’s goal and purpose, so that will continue to enhance the company’s performance.

Office hours are 9am – 5:30pm – Monday to Friday. Unsociable hours and weekend working will be required at times of high workload.

Salary: Base salary: £28,000.00 – £30,000.0 per annum. Incentives: +15-25% OTE dependent on experience.

Account Manager – Silverstone Studio

Role & responsibilities:
The day-to-day management of clients’ marketing and advertising campaigns
Pro-active leadership that encourages teams to perform to the best of their ability
Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level
The organisation of client feedback
Generating accurate reports and status notifications
Pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients
Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and L3 in the most productive direction

Key skills required:
Significant experience in professional client relationship management
A solid background in advertising, design or marketing
The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective team management capabilities
A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms
The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas
The ability to work as an authoritative figure in a busy team
Competent user of Microsoft Office package
Office hours are 9 – 5.30pm – however overtime may be required
Professional, well presented and calm under pressure

Salary: £35k-£40K package negotiable dependent on experience
