Exhibition Sales Manager – Silverstone studio

We are looking for someone with a proven record of hitting sales targets in excess of £500,000 per annum in the global exhibition market place. Reporting to the CEO, you will be a prominent member of the team where the foundations are laid for your success in this role. Role
• A client facing Exhibition Sales Manager with a real can do attitude and a varied skill set. You will have a minimum of 5 years of internal exhibition sales experience.
• The Exhibition Sales Manager will be responsible for driving L3’s market position and ambition to achieve target significant financial growth.
• You will assist in determining the long-term organisational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
• You will work with the internal team and managers to increase sales opportunities, and thereby maximise revenue for L3.
• To achieve this, you will be responsible for finding potential new customers, presenting to them, ultimately converting them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
• You will call on clients, being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict the clients’ future needs.

Description:
• The primary role of the Exhibition Sales Manager is to prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, advertising or other means of generating interest in L3.
• You will need to plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with L3. You will need to develop a rapport with new clients, and hit realistic sales targets, as well as provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
• Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, with a key responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into L3. This requires a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, the solutions/services L3 can provide, and of L3’s competitors.

Duties:
Exhibition Sales
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Cold call to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation. Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and L3 principals. Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with the L3 team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising, agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
• Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately. Present an image that mirrors that of the client.

Client Retention
• Present new products and services and your existing relationships. Work with the creative and projects teams to meet customer needs. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Sales Development Planning
• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM and internal process templates.
• Be accountable for hitting realistic sales targets.
• Track and record activity on accounts, and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities. Understand the company’s goal and purpose, so that will continue to enhance the company’s performance.

Office hours are 9am – 5:30pm – Monday to Friday. Unsociable hours and weekend working will be required at times of high workload.

Salary: Base salary: £28,000.00 – £30,000.0 per annum. Incentives: +15-25% OTE dependent on experience.

Digital/Graphic Designer – London/Silverstone/Brighton/Lewes studio

Role & responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to our Creative Director in the output of graphic and digital communications, pitch work and live event design. The individual will be expected to produce high quality visuals to support worldwide events, sales collateral, branded merchandise and a range of on-going internal communication material.

Scope of work to include, pitch work consisting of Photoshop visuals, brand-focused event graphics, digital design, pitch presentation InDesign documents, creation of Creative Suite templates, PPT/Keynote documents, promotional material.

• Create branding and logos for events
• Knowledge and a passion for emerging technology (Virtual and Augmented Reality)
• Passion for keeping at the leading edge of design trends in our relevant sectors
• Knowledge of film and animation are a nice to-have
• Contribute effectively to team discussions so that processes stay effective and relevant
• Be brave and bold where design briefs are concerned, while being aware of the constraints of cost and time
• Liaise with printers, copywriters, photographers, film makers, illustrators, other designers, account managers, web developers and marketing
• Plan and prioritise your own workload

Qualifications and experience:
Degree level design qualification, with competence in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong demonstration of typographic design
Experience of digital design
Experience of logo and branding creation
Strong portfolio of work demonstrating an understanding of live event work
Capable of managing your time across multiple projects simultaneously
Experience of operating in a busy work environment and being able to adapt and adjust well to changing circumstances
Delivery of accurate production ready design work for print and digital media
You must be driven, motivated and a proactive addition to our design team

Designing exhibition stands from brief to concept presentation
Creating 3d concepts and renders for clients
Designing graphic concepts and branding
Creating technical drawings and final written specifications to accompany designs
Working closely with the project team to ensure exhibition stands are manufactured to the highest standards
At times, attending meetings with the accounts and sales teams to take briefs and to present your designs as sketches, scale plans, computer-generated visuals to clients.
Having an active interest in trends and designs in the exhibition sector and interior design of other environments

Key skills required:
A minimum of five years experience in the exhibition stand design industry
Fully proficient in the use of 3D software such as 3Ds Max
A strong understanding of the Adobe CS Suite
A good mix of creativity and technical ability
