Igloo Books at Frankfurt Book Fair 2013, Germany
We were asked by Igloo Books to create a cool, contemporary environment that would achieve stand-out at Frankfurt Book Fair – the busiest book and media fair in the world. This is where the book trade descend to find the hottest titles and swap ideas, projects and deals. With our client Igloo Books growing rapidly, they were keen to capitalise on the opportunity to promote their expanding children’s and adult books program, which now includes e-books and apps.
Our teams art directed a promotional video, combining animation and stills featuring popular children’s titles such as DreamWorks’ Turbo, BBC’s Mister Maker and Nick Jr’s Tickety Toc. We also designed and built a light, bright and inviting exhibition space featuring LED colour washes, to reflect the logo and branding.
The interest and feedback that Igloo Books received from visitors during the event was testament to their impressive portfolio, as well as the creative ingenuity of the L3 exhibitions team.
